In a time-sensitive project spanning from June to August 2021, D7 Mechanical played an important role in the replacement of fire protection systems at Tolko Armstrong's sawmill kilns and plywood plant dryer systems in British Columbia.

The skilled crew from D7 Mechanical handled the challenging task of demolishing and re-installing fire protection in five batch kilns and the dryer building.

Acquired in 2004 as part of the Riverside Forest Products purchase, the Armstrong Division has been a cornerstone of Tolko's operations. Comprising a lumber mill, plywood plant, co-generation plant, and the Eagle Rock Reforestation Centre, collectively providing 400 jobs to the area and producing 234 million board feet annually.

The successful completion of this critical fire protection replacement underlines D7’s commitment to upgrading operational excellence and safety standards for our clients.
